BULGARIA
Read the storyB ulgari is one of the world's leading manufacturers of luxury goods, but from the beginning it was exclusively about jewelry and then watches, and only much later did it expand to other luxury products.
It all began in Rome in 1884, when Sotirio Bulgari, a Greek immigrant who descended from a family of silversmiths,
opened its first store on Via Sistina. With the help of his two sons, he opened his second shop on Via Condotti in 1905. This quickly became a gathering place for the rich and famous, who demanded high-quality jewelry designs inspired by Greek and Roman art.
During the 1940s, Bulgari presented their first watch, the snake watch, which was inspired by 1920s Art Deco. It was both
different and extravagant and quickly became known as a school example of a jewelry watch.
Although they have been manufacturing watches for many years, they did not have a large collection until the 1970s. In 1977, Bulgari Bulgari Bulgari was introduced, which was characterized by having the logo engraved twice on the completely cylindrical bezel. This model became the company's most recognizable and best-selling model so far.
Today, they make many different model series and with
different functions, for example diving watches, chronographs
and GMT watches with an extra time zone. Innovation has also been shown with the use of
materials such as aluminum and rubber, without in any way compromising the high quality requirements.
